How do you know if you are getting a good deal?

This might sound like an easy question, but sometimes the  hardest to answer, because of all the options, company policy, demographics etc. The HVAC business is kind of like the wild west,  where companies have different prices and sometimes the cheapest quote is not necessary the best deal.
